Abstract

What is Community?: Commitment and Capital Among Three Groups Combining quantitative and qualitative techniques, our research explores community's nature among three distinct primary groups: a fire company, a bowling league, and a house church. Descriptive analyses find characteristically varying group commitment and social capital manifestations.
