Abstract

Dull oranges and pinks of sunset strayed through the tall windows of the auditorium and splashed lazily across the white, institutional walls above the blackboards. Some of them, reflecting off of the slowly spinning blades of the ceiling fan, leapt and slid around the room in cyclic, monotonous play. The seats, looped in a half-circle, ran up from the low floor to the promenade that wrapped the back of the room, more grey in the cold university hall.
