Abstract
In the spring of 2013, continued from where we left off from the previous semester with the SolidWorks modeling and head-tube interface redesign. The base model of the current tricycle was further adjusted and fine-tuned for accuracy. A rig to test our newly designed head-tube interface was conceptualized, designed, and built to confirm its durability after subjecting it to a repeatedly applied load in the form of a 1.25-inch sized bump. The testing of our new design was initiated but not completed, and so further testing is required.
