Abstract
Metal-insulator transition in the SrRu1−xMgxO3 system
SrMgxRu1−xO3 ceramics for 0<~x<~0.15 have been prepared by conventional solid-state reaction. The samples have been studied by x-ray diffraction, dc resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and optical reflectance. Mg substitution produces little change in the lattice parameters and does not destroy the ferromagnetic transition but renders the material insulating.
