Cross-linked nano-onions of carbon nitride in the solid phase: Existence of a novel C48N12 aza-fullerene
Reactive magnetron sputtering is presented as a new method to synthesize fullerenelike structures at low substrate temperatures that can constitute solid materials. With this method, thin films consisting of cross-linked carbon nitride nano-onions can be synthesized.
