I’m sure you’ve heard the whole “found manuscript” routine before, and sure, it’s trite as anything. But this time I assure you I have the genuine article. Surely you don’t think I would write something like this. I saw an oldnotebook that someone forgot at abus station and found this in it. Anyway, thought I would pass it along to you. Heard you’ve been looking for some-thing vague and heady to publish so that peoplewould take the firm seriously. Purple prose sells, but it won’t win you any book awards.Took the liberty of researching and compilinga list ofsome of the references in here. Might be useful as an appendix. Eggheads loveappendixes.
